You’re Engaged!

Congratulations! You said YES! The planning has begun and now it’s time to start looking for invitations… Cue Tag Design. I like to meet with couples 6-12 months ahead of the wedding, especially if they want save the dates. You can start by sending an inquiry either by email, text, social media, or through my website contact page. However, meeting 4-5 months ahead is quite alright if you are only ordering a custom invitation suite.

Let’s Connect

Did someone say “free consultation?” Since my office is in my home, my schedule is pretty flexible - weekdays, weeknights, weekends… First, you will fill out a questionnaire on my website to give me a head start on your wedding. We connect on social media so we have access to each others creativity. At our meeting, I show you invitation samples, various materials, paper colors, etc that could interest you. We will begin to shape the look of your invitations so you will get a sense of what they could turn into!

One Stop Shopping

Your invitations are the first glimpse into your wedding for your guests so I want to help you make that moment a memorable one for them. Whether its black tie, nautical, rustic, classic, casual, small or a big, fat {insert nationality} wedding, I can make your invitations one-of-a-kind, that will reflect your personalities, and express the ultimate feel of your wedding. Together we will WOW your guests so they have no choice but to say yes! So, what can I give you? I can provide custom wedding invitation suites. What does that mean? It means I can customize an entire invitation set for your wedding from save the dates to thank you cards, and everything in between. You can get place cards, menus, programs, signage, donation cards, favor tags... the list is endless… as long as it can be printed, you can get it from me. It can all coordinate and its one-stop shopping.

What can I expect to pay?

Some of your friends probably tell you to “just get your invitations online - they are cheaper!” My answer to that is “You get what you pay for”… There are alot of hidden costs online that most people dont realize and quality is another question everyone has. I’m here to take all that worry away. You will see the actual paper that you can choose, and actual samples printed before the full order is issued. I also provide stationery services that are inclusive to my design that most stationers do not. (I explain below) On average, a couple can prepare to spend around $1000 for 100 base level invitations. One thing to keep in mind - next to your photos, your invitations are one of the only things you will have as a keepsake forever - don’t you want to look at them 25 years from now and remember this experience and know that no one else has the same ones?

Stationery Design

I like to make this process as easy as possible for all my couples, so I include services that other stationers do not in my suite assembly. The reason I do this is because they are my original designs, so I want to make sure that they are presented in the way that I designed them. And besides - you have enough on your to-do list! Once we meet and you choose materials for your suite, these are all included in the pricing unless you choose to opt out of them.

  • Envelope Addressing - There are 2 options for this service. You can have all your envelopes printed to match your invitations (optional). The envelopes and printing of them are not included in the set up fees.

    • Includes Guest addresses, your return address on the back of the mailing envelopes, and on the front of the rsvp envelopes - $150/up to 100 or $200/over 100

    • Just return address on back of mailing and front of rsvp - $75/up to 100 invitations or $100/over 100 invitations.

  • Invitation Bundling - Your invitations will come all assembled & bundled in the mailing envelopes so all you have to do is purchase and adhere the postage stamps, seal and mail! Most stationers give you all the items separately and you are expected to assemble everything. There are no extra hidden fees for this service. It is a complimentary service I offer to all my couples.

  • RSVP Numbering - I will number the backs of all your rsvp cards. This allows you to keep track of any guests who forget to write their name on the card (which I promise will happen!) or perhaps you have a Jr. & Sr. father & son but they don’t write that on the line - you can just check the list with the # on the back and you will be able to know which one is coming. This is also a courtesy service for all my couples.

  • RSVP Stamps - I supply these and adhere these to your rsvp envelopes! Since I bundle your invitations anyway, it makes total sense… you are just reimbursing me for something you would have to purchase. You are only charged for the amount you actually use.
